It’s easy to start FPL electric service at your new home. Just go to FPL’s Start, Stop, Move Electric Service web page and follow the instructions.
What You Will Need to Start FPL Service
- Identification such as a Social Security, Driver’s License, Social Insurance or Tax ID number (optional).
- The address of the home or business where you need service.
- The date you want service to start.
As part of the Start Service process, you will create an FPL.com User ID. You can use this account to pay your bills, enroll in programs and check your energy usage. You will need to provide a valid email address to use as your login ID.
