Designers put contemporary flourishes on a historic English Tudor mansion, mixing modern style and classic furnishings that honor this 100-year-old home’s heritage.
Designers were influenced by the California home’s architectural style and history, at times mixing high tech with high design. Whether it was with wireless sound systems in the bedrooms or all-natural furnishings in the garden cottage, this year’s showcase designers added up-to-date touches while staying true to the home’s legacy. The 7,479-square-foot mansion has been a filming location numerous times over the years. Most recently, the garden party scene in the hit movie La La Land featured the loggia, below.
